Kylie Jenner Shares A Snapchat Video About Being Bullied Since She Was 9

Beauty mogul, Kylie Jenner shared how she feels she’s been bullied since she was nine. The new mother revealed this information in a Snapchat video, which was taken and re-cut with different variations of life from the perspective of the youngest Jenner, and created by a fan site. In 2007, the world discovered the Kardashian/Jenner clan when their reality show Keeping Up With the Kardashians premiered on E! In efforts to appear vulnerable and helpful to her younger audience, Jenner explained her experience with being bullied in the 58 second clip. As different videos and takes from her life are displayed on screen, captioning of her words rolled across the screen.

She began her experience in a low raspy voice,

Half of you guys think I’m weird. And the other half think I’m funny. But I’ve been bullied since I’ve been nine. From the whole world it feels like sometimes. And I think, I think I’ve done a really great job in handling all of this.

The millionaire added,

This is just a little like Snapchat, to tell whoever with their own bullies, that the only opinion that really matters is yours, and to never change.

She concluded the video stating,

This isn’t a pity party, though. Don’t get it twisted. This is for others with bullies out there to know you’re not alone.

The reality star recently spoke with Glamour UK about growing up within the entertainment industry and being forced to develop thick skin.

So many negative things come at me all the time. Of course, it does affect me, but you develop a thick skin. Nothing has lasted so long that I haven’t gotten through it, so whenever a new bad story or rumor emerges, I know it will pass, too. Everything in life is transient.

Kylie’s sister, Kendall Jenner shared the video of the Snapchat edited video to her Twitter on Thursday. She captioned the video with a heart emoji and direct message to her younger sister.
