Lil Wayne’s “Tha Carter V” Projected To Come In #1 With Over 475-525k Sales First Week
After years and years of anticipation, the wait has paid off. It looks like Lil Wayne‘s fans have proven their loyalty by shooting Weezy’s latest effort straight to the top of the charts.
According to reports, Tha Carter V, which dropped on September 28, is expected to come in #1 on the Billboard 200, moving475-525k units, 165-180k pure sales. The album is also anticipated to have one of the biggest streaming weeks ever, bringing in over 400 million streams in its first week. It will fall just behind Drake’s Scorpion and Post Malone Beerbongs & Bentleys. Streams aside, this would also give Lil Wayne one of the biggest first week’s of the year, coming in third to Drake and Travis Scott.
If all goes according to plan, this will mark Lil Wayne’s 4th Billboard 200 #1 album, following the success of Tha Carter III, Tha Carter IV and I Am Not A Human Being.
