Kevin Hart – Everyone’s Opinion About My Son’s “Cowboy & Indians” Party Shows How Stupid The World Is Becoming
Kevin Hart is responding to social media users who had a problem with the theme of his son’s birthday party on Thanksgiving. Hart received backlash and was accused of culture appropriation for throwing Kenzo Hart a “Cowboys and Indians” party, and was labeled as racially insensitive. Hart went to his SiriusXM radio show to respond stating,
dumb s**t, [because it shows] how stupid our world is becoming with opinions.

He affirms there was nothing spiteful behind the theme, and the inspiration formed on the foundation of movies and games which he played when was growing up, like “Cowboys & Indians.” He continued,
“As a kid, when you played these games, it was based off of the premise from a hypothetical place that was put into perception for movies. What I’m saying is this isn’t something that just started. This isn’t a racial slur that people are doing or being malicious with. This is a game that’s been played for years.”
He also described how he came across the negative comments, through the help of his wife, Eniko Parrish.
“She posts this picture, and the next day there’s a lot of flak,” Hart said. “You know, I don’t go on this s***; I don’t read none of that, so she tells me. She’s like, ‘Yo, come look at this dumb s*** on TMZ. People are complaining about the cowboys-and-Indians party, saying it’s insensitive.’”
After Kevin’s comments, do you think his son’s birthday was culturally insensitive? Let us know in the comments.
