Margaret Avery Responds To Fans Asking About “Being Mary Jane” Finale: Ask BET!
BET’s hit drama series “Being Mary Jane” was cancelled in 2017, and ordered to have a two hour series finale slated to premiere in 2018, but with 33 days left before ringing in the new year, fans of the series are wondering when the movie will air. As the network has yet to reveal a premiere date for the movie, speculation has risen if the movie will ever see the light of day.
Margaret Avery, who played Helen Patterson, recently shared a photo to Instagram and fans chimed in questioning when the movie will air. A user wrote,
@Bet, @authrovirginlaw and I got questions…where is the 2 hour finale of @betmaryjane? When y’all dropping that heat?! We want to see the greatness of Cousin @gabunion and Aunt @margaretshugavery and the entire #BeingMaryJane cast one last time. What we need to do to make this happen? #BlackTwitter invovlement? Petitions? Viral video requests?
