Jamie Foxx’s Daughter Corinne Will Star In “47 Meters Down Sequel” Alongside Nia Long
Jamie Foxx’s daughter Corinne Foxx has been added to the cast of “47 Meter Down – Uncaged,” the sequel to the original “47 Meters Down” which released in 2017. Corinne will be making her film debut starring alongside acclaimed actress Nia Long with a slated release date of June 28, 2019.
The story will follow similar to the original; four teenagers will be grabbing life by the horns as they dive in a ruined underwater city to only find the caves they’ve entered are occupied by the ocean’s deadliest shark species.
Byron Allen, CEO of Entertainment Studios, who’s executive producing the film said,
The sequel ‘47 Meters Down – Uncaged’ is well-positioned to be a big summer event movie. The shark-filled psychological horror/thriller will once again have moviegoers overwhelmed and on the edge of their seats being terrorized by the world’s greatest predators!
Jamie also raved about the news via an Instagram post,

The original film earned $60 million globally with a $5.5. million budget. Let’s hope the sequel can beat the first!
