Gucci Mane and Waka Flocka Flame Officially End Their Feud
Gucci Mane has made one of the most interesting evolutions the hip hop industry has ever seen! “La’Flare” has gone from drug addictions and prison time, to becoming a best-selling author and getting married on live television within a matter of years. But there’s one aspect of his trap life that he hadn’t gotten rid of: beef. Gucci Mane sat down with the “Streetz Morning Take Over Show” on Sreetz 94.5 in their hometown of Atlanta to declare that their beef has been squashed. He had this exchange with Streetz personality Mo Quick:
“Mo Quick: …Waka trying to reconcile with you. Did you hear him trying to reach out?
Gucci Mane: We spoke one time the other day. I reached out to him.
Mo: Aww! How did it go? What did y’all talk about?
Gucci: To be honest, with him on the internet like that, I reached out to him ’cause I thought it was urgent…we had that conversation.
Mo: So you guys are cool again?
Gucci: Yeah. Everything for the best.”
This is a far cry from Waka Flocka’s 2013 statements. During Gucci Mane’s drug-induced Twitter wars against Nicki Minaj and Waka, the “Love and Hip Hop Atlanta” star vowed he’d never speak with Gucci again. He said:
“I didn’t think he was gonna go to that level like cyberspace. That’s crazy. I don’t care how crazy he doing, I don’t care if he jumps off the roof, if I catch him its going digital. I don’t want to kill him or nothing, I just wanna slap him a couple of times like a little brother. Gucci lost his noodles. People think he is gangster and he really needs medical attention. I’m not concerned, I don’t care nothing about him. We ain’t never going to be friends ever.”
