This week, Kenya shared her first photo of Brooklyn, who was born in November.
Brooklyn is Kenya and Marc’s first child together.

Throughout her pregnancy, Kenya, 47, has opened up about challenges conceiving at her age. She used vitro fertilization to help conceive. In a recent interview, she opens up about her delivery, an emergency cesarean section which lasted three hours. Since she had fibroids in the way, she ended up being cut twice — horizontally and vertically. She explains,
“They couldn’t get the baby out. There were all these complications and they knew if they cut into a fibroid, I could potentially bleed out and die. So they ended up cutting me vertically too, to just get the baby out and make sure I survived the surgery. They were so scared they were going to lose me.”
Congrats to Kenya and Marc on their new bundle of joy!
