Roc-A-Fella Producer Says Dame Dash Tried to Seduce Beyonce Away From Jay-Z: He Wasn’t Allowed Around Beyonce!

Roc-A-Fella Producer Says Dame Dash Tried to Seduce Beyonce Away From Jay-Z: He Wasn’t Allowed Around Beyonce!
“If at first you don’t succeed, dust yourself off and try again!” Did Aaliyah‘s lyrics ring true in her love life before her untimely passing in 2001? Former Roc-A-Fella Records producer, Choke No Joke, recently dropped a bomb about Dame Dash‘s and Funk Master Flex‘s longstanding beef. The two hip hop OGs have been going back and forth on social media over Dame’s controversial interview with Nick Cannon about the “Surviving R. Kelly” controversy. In that interview, Dame alleges that the Roc-A-Fella dynasty started to crumble when Jay Z collaborated with R. Kelly – his then-girlfriend, Aaliyah’s ex-husband. Funk Master Flex recently celebrated Aaliyah’s would-be 40th birthday with a shady nod to her relationship with Jay Z.

Choke No Joke told former Hot 97 host Troi Torain (formerly known as Star) that Dame Dash seduced Aaliyah away from her relationship with Jay Z. He claims Dame tried to pull the same stunt with Beyoncé, and as a result, was banned from being around Queen Bey. Choke said this about Dame’s sneaky moves on Beyoncé:
“I mean nothing happened like he kissed or sexed her or something like that. Did he try to holler at her? Yeah…That’s the same thing he did with Aaliyah.”
He continued, adding that Dame Dash’s girlfriend-snatching ways were well-known in the Roc-A-Fella camp:
“We all know there was a point at Roc-A-Fella where Dame wasn’t allowed around Beyoncé. Everybody that worked there at that time knew…because he was a creep. Beyoncé wasn’t going for that sh*t. And the only reason why Aaliyah might have gone for it was because he [Jay Z] wouldn’t be public with her.”

Interestingly enough, Troi had a front-row seat for this alleged love triangle between Dame Dash, Aaliyah, and Jay-Z. Troi’s heinous joke about Aaliyah’s fatal plane crash got him kicked off the airwaves, and out of the good graces of Roc-a-fella. Jay Z mentioned this in his tribute song to Aaliyah, “I Miss You (Remix).” He rapped:
“Now Star is mad I won’t grant him a interview
Now he’s dissin’ me, ’cause he dissed you
Can you believe the nerve of this dude
’cause of your memory I won’t bring it to pistols”
Do the allegations of Dame Dash plotting on Beyoncé make sense, or are they far-fetched? Let us know in the comments.
