Friendships are important, especially those between women, who are often pitted against each other due to the antiquated terms of society. There are many celebrities who also embrace the power of sisterhood, like the fabulous trio of Mary J. Blige, Tracee Ellis Ross and Gabrielle Union.

Proving that summer bodies are made in winter and January is the designated month for self-improvement, stars Mary J. Blige, Tracee Ellis Ross and Gabrielle Union hit the gym together and they are goals all around. The three ladies posted a fierce photo of them in the gym together looking decades younger than the women in their late 40’s they actually are.

The #BlackGirlMagic was on full display and apparently MJB was feeling the sisterhood on a deeper level as well. In her caption of the posted photo of the ladies, she wrote:

“This is what my mornings look like!!Kicking ass at @heartandhustlegym along with these two beautiful sisters @gabunion & @traceeellisross !! Ladies let’s keep lifting each other up!! #Sisterhood #BlackGirlMagic #WalkInLove”

Ross also posted the photo and her caption kept in line with the theme of celebrating sisterhood and strength, writing:

“Powerhouse badass women kicking ass. this morning at 8a i walked into the orbit of a bunch of strong sisterhood magic! i was soooo tired and not in the mood to workout this morning, so thank you @gabunion and @therealmaryjblige for the motivation and sister vibes, and @heartandhustlegym for the environment.”

Finally, Union rounded out the group sentiments when she posted the photo on her account as well, making us all wish we were there:

“STRONGER TOGETHER. You mess with one of us, you gotta problem with all of us. 8am reminder of our collective strength and badassery in this dancery called life.
