Wendy Williams Show Announces More Temporary Replacements
‘The Wendy Williams Show’ Announces More Temporary Replacements Through Mid-February
It’s been well over a month since talk show host Wendy Williams has been back in the chair spewing her ‘Hot Topics’ and with the latest news surrounding her up-in-the-air return, it may be a while longer.
Fans of Wendy Williams were happy to see recent photos of her out and about while in Florida, the first sighting of her since she revealed the health issues that led to her initial hiatus. However, after postponing her return to The Wendy Williams Show three times, it was last announced that Nick Cannon would take over for a three-day stint from February 4-6. Now, another round of temporary replacements has been announced through mid-February.
On the official Instagram page for The Wendy Williams Show, it was revealed which celebrities will guest host for Williams until she returns after suffering a fractured shoulder and complications from Graves Disease.
The temporary replacement line-up is as follows:
On Thursday, February 7th, actor/comedian Jason Biggs from Netflix’s Orange Is the New Black will guest host the show, followed by Keke Palmer, from the upcoming indie film PIMP, on Friday, February 8th.
The following week features former The View co-host Sherrie Shepherd on Monday, February 11th and on Tuesday, February 12th. On Wednesday, February 13th, actor Michael Rapaport from Netflix’s ATYPICAL steps in as guest host.
Actor Jerry O’Connell from WGN’s Carter returns to guest host the show and finishes the week on Thursday, February 14th and Friday, February 15th.
As for what happens and who will host the show beyond February 15th, no details have been revealed at press time. There is also no concrete date for Williams’ permanent return to the show.
