Remy Ma Defense Nicki Minaj Against BET Tweet – Just A Stupid Business Move
Rapper Remy Ma spoke on the recent BET Network posted and deleted moment from the 61st annual Grammy awards that involved rap rival, Nicki Minaj pulling out of an upcoming BET performance. As previously reported, BET posted a tweet which congratulated Cardi B on winning Best Rap Album while also poking fun of Minaj, to their surprised the tweet went viral.

Following BET taking down the tweet, Minaj became aware of the embarrassing moment, sparking her label, Young Money to withdraw all talent from their upcoming BET Experience and BET Award show this summer. Minaj announced,
“Young Money will no longer be apart of the BET Experience or award show. Summer Tour dates dropping soon.”
Remy spoke on ‘State of The Culture’ Show, defending Minaj. She stated:
“BET is suppose to be, ‘Black Entertainment Television’ like, why would y’all do that. Why would y’all be petting two against the other. How can you congratulate one, because that’s what it was, it was a congratulations to Cardi for winning and then in your next breath, you know, you down grade someone else.”

Remy continues, by defending Minaj.
“Now only someone else, someone that you have slatted to perform at one of your shows. That was just a stupid move.”
BET has since apologized for the tweet.
