Ryan Coogler and Wife Expecting First Baby

Aside from Wakanda, “Black Panther” director Ryan Coogler is expanding his own kingdom! Ryan and his wife, Zinzi, are expecting their first baby! A photo of the beautiful Coogler Family is circulating on social media with Zinzi toting an adorable baby bump.

Last year during the red carpet premiere of “Black Panther,” Ryan told reporters that he wants not one, but several baby girls with his wife of two years. He said:

“I found I want daughters real, real bad. Like plural. I thought, making Fruitvale (Station), I want kids. But like, on this one, I have to have some daughters.”

A baby isn’t the only thing the Coogler’s have on the way. Rumor has it that Ryan is working on a biopic about beloved West Coast rapper/actor Snoop Dogg with “Empire” creator, Lee Daniels.
