Terrence Howard Had A Meltdown On Set Over Jussie Smollett Controversy, Confronted Actor + Later Posts Message Supporting Him
Did Jussie Smollett just lose a major figure of support? Since news broke of the “Empire” actor’s arrest following reports that he may have coached two Nigerian brothers to attack him, his co-star/friend Terrence Howard is having trouble supporting Jussie, according to reports. A source alleged that Terrence not only refused to attend the recent cast meeting where Jussie addressed the attack with them – but he’s also had a meltdown on set.
According to sources, when Jussie Smollett turned himself in to the Chicago Police Department on February 21st, the “Empire” set was
“a complete disaster.”
Terrence Howard was reportedly so upset that he refused to leave his trailer for a large part of the day. But, the plot thickens. Terrence also allegedly confronted Jussie before the arrest – revealing that he felt things weren’t adding up with Jussie’s story about how the attack took place. The source added that he would even grill Jussie on the timeline of the story.
But, oddly enough, Terrence posted a video of Jussie Smollett playing with his son. He used the following caption:
“@theterrencehoward All your lil homies got you… We love the hell outta you.”
Are Terrence Howard’s conflicting reactions to Jussie Smollett appropriate or problematic? Let us know in the comments.
