R.Kelly – Woman Who Helped Him Get Out Of Jail Speaks Out: He’s My Friend, He’s NOT A Monster!
A Female “Friend” Helped R. Kelly W/ Bail Money, Alleges He’s Innocent
Singer R. Kelly was recently charged with 10 counts of aggravated sexual assault, forcing him to turn himself in to a Cook County Illinois jail. He was initially given the bond amount of $1,000,000 – leaving him to pay $100,000. He reportedly couldn’t afford that due to being in financial ruins. This left the public with the question – who paid R. Kelly’s bond?
Apparently a “female friend” of his named Valencia P. Love helped cough up $100K for the infamous singer. Valencia granted Fox Chicago reporter Tia A. Ewing a phone interview about R. Kelly. Tia tweeted:
“#RKelly’s friend that bailed him out breaks her silence. I spoke with Valencia P. Love for 14 minutes. She says the singer isn’t broke and she didn’t use her $100,000 for Kelly to bounce from the county. Here are notes from our conversation by phone. @fox32news”
In Tia’s notes, Valencia says she was simply helping a friend.
“I’m not going to say it was my money or his money and he’s not broke. He was going to post bond by Thursday anyway. He’s my friend and I knew he needed help…It wasn’t my money, I;m not going to say whose money it is.”
Valencia P. Love seemingly believes R. Kelly is innocent, and insists her help doesn’t equate to an endorsement.
“There are three sides to every story: his side, there’s [the alleged victims], and the truth…He’s only been a gentleman to me…As a friend if he says he’s innocent, I can only believe that he’s innocent.”
Valencia believes Chicago Police are worried about the wrong things.
“Why isn’t anyone focused on Kierra Coles? The media[‘s] focused on Jayme Closs. Why isn’t anyone looking for Kierra?”
Soon after posting bail, R. Kelly and an entourage were seen defiantly dining inside of a Chicago McDonald’s. Lifetime’s “Surviving R. Kelly” documentary alleged that he once recruited underaged girls from this very location.
