Has Diddy Changed His Name Again?
Diddy Wants To Be Called By A New Name
From Sean Combs, P. Diddy, Puffy, and Diddy, the music mogul has gone by a list of nicknames through his career and now he’s going by a new name. The Bad Boy records founder announced on social media would like to be called Love, again. Formerly known and Diddy, he shared his new name request.

“Please just call me LOVE, take the brother off. Just LOVE.”
In 2018, Diddy was a little indecisive as he went gone back and forth with his notable name change. As previously reported, he first clarified changing his name to Love.
“Well, ladies and gentlemen, today I’ve come to the conclusion that you cannot play around with the internet. Due to overwhelming response from the media out there, and just due to there not wanting to be any confusion. I was only joking. Okay? I didn’t change my name. It’s just part of one of my alter egos. One of my alter egos is Love.”
Just over one year ago, he addressed his name changes in an interview.
“I never went back to Diddy and I made an edit from Brother Love, since I’m already Black, to just Love. The Brother seemed redundant. And it’s working out great. Who doesn’t love, love?”
He explains more, addressing his other notable names,
You can call me by the other names. It’s just an evolution of my soul and my vibration. I’m Diddy, but during the days that are really, really good, I’m Love. Which is all of the time”
