Nick Cannon Calls Out Oprah, Posts Image Of Media Mogul Kissing Harvey Weinstein Asks – What Time Does His Documentary Come On?!
Nick Cannon seemed to have a question for Oprah Winfrey after her controversial ‘Leaving Neverland’ special aired on HBO recently.
He posted a photo of Oprah kissing Harvey Weinstein, who was accused of sexually assaulting dozens of celebrity women, sparking the #MeToo movement. The photo was accompanied by a question that asks, “Hey y’all, what time does Surviving Harvey Weinstein come on???”
He added the caption, “Was just wondering…”
While he was ‘just wondering,’ his followers had mixed reactions about his subtle shade at Winfrey’s sit-down with two men who say Michael Jackson sexually abused them.
One follower wrote,
“I’m here for them ALL being hung out to dry & there are MANY! However are we to minimize the pain and exploitation of BLACK GIRLS/WOMEN/CHILDREN at the hands of BLACK Men who are predators? All because they are black? As a survivor I’m trying to understand the use of this logic.”
Cannon actually responded and said,
“I never mentioned anyone’s name other than Harvey Weinstein. This post was just asking about him and ALL the women that did and didn’t survive this sexual predator. If you read my previous post or my published academic essays about toxic male behavior in the black community you will see I am an ally and advocate for your fight and voices like yours, but this particular post was about something entirely different. Nothing but love peace and respect Queen.”
As for his previous post he was referring to, he showed love to a handful of what he said was “the most power source on this planet, the women” for International Women’s Day Friday.

Cannon’s post came after Mo’nique and her husband Sidney Hicks called out Winfrey for the Leaving Neverland documentary.
It also comes just as Gayle King sat down with R. Kelly in an interview over the charges he’s facing for allegedly sexually assaulting women, three of which were allegedly underage at the time.
