Pooch Hall Will Avoid Jail Time In DUI Case – Ordered To Take Parenting & Alcohol Abuse Classes
Great news for “Ray Donovan” fans! Marion “Pooch” Hall, famous for his role as Derwin Davis in the hit sitcom “The Game,” will not face jail time regarding his child endangerment/DUI charges from last fall, meaning his “Ray Donovan” character won’t be written off of the show’s seventh season – which is reportedly scheduled to go into production this summer.
In a Los Angeles Superior Court yesterday (3/19/19), Deputy D.A. Lisa Tanner moved to have his felony child endangerment charge reduced to a misdemeanor. Instead of a six year jail sentence, he will endure three years of probation, and six months of a suspended driver’s license. As a part of Pooch’s no-contest plea, he is required to complete three-month alcohol abuse and one-year parenting classes.
Pooch Hall was arrested last year after crashing his Chrysler 300 into a parked car in Burbank, California. It turns out he was under the influence, and at one point, had his two-year-old on his lap while driving with no seat belt. He released from police custody on a $100,000 bond.
