Tamar Braxton Says She’s Single, Then Posts Video Kissing Boyfriend ‘I Be Mad But Not Too Long’

Just a few hours ago, Tamar Braxton said she was single and ready to mingle, seemingly announcing the breakup from her boyfriend.

“I’m single…ready to mingle tho”

She even added this cryptic message:

Now, she posted a video cuddled up to him on social media.

She and her mystery boyfriend began dating less than a year after she filed for divorce from Herbert in October 2017. While she did hold back from revealing his name, she never hesitated to swoon over him on social media.

She also said he was a Nigerian and a Harvard Business graduate, and that she met him at a friend’s birthday party when she stopped by The Wendy Williams Show. 

“He’s so fine, I can’t take it sometimes. He’s like a whole snatch, a Lunchable. He’s super duper smart. He’s so amazing, he’s so kind. And he’s saved.”

At the time of the interview, which dates back to September 2018, she said they had been together for three months. Still, she added that was enough time for her to fall in love. Williams then broke down saying it was “weird” to see her with a new guy because she and Braxton had been friends for so long. She also spoke on her divorce from Herbert, who is also the father of her child, Logan.

“The fact that I was not willing to negotiate my happiness anymore under any circumstances… I love Vince, he’s my family member. And just like with family sometimes, you kinda gotta know when to draw the line. I wanted to be happy and I just felt like he deserved to be happy. We just shouldn’t be co-existing as a married couple. I really wanted a relationship and really wanted to be married.”

She addressed speculation that Herbert had a secret love child with another woman. Braxton said a baby has yet to come into the picture, but she was “definitely told” there was a baby involved, so she believed it at the moment.

“It’s my bad because he has more integrity than that. He would never do that to me.”

Fans also saw the fallout between Braxton and Herbert on WeTV’s Tamar & Vince. 

More recently, Braxton said she and Herbert have rebuilt their friendship.
