Jordyn Woods Says She Was ‘Bullied By The World’ Over Tristan Thompson Controversy: I Understood For The 1st Time What It’s Like Being A Black Woman

Jordyn Woods is speaking out about her life after being wrapped up in the Tristan Thompson scandal, where she was accused of sleeping with the NBA star, who’s the now ex-boyfriend of Khloe KardashianKardashian’s younger sister, Kylie Jenner, and Woods had been best friends for years before the scandal.

Now, Woods says she still suffered bullying after the rumor took on a life of its own earlier this year. During a recent interview she says:

“My little sister was bullied in school and I wanted to show her that I was bullied by the world. I understood for the first time what it’s like being a black woman — in a just society, how we can be so disrespected and nobody can really understand to that extent until you have lived it.”

This isn’t the first time Woods has opened up about the controversy. Just days after it happened, she sat down with Jada Pinkett Smith for the actresses’ Red Table Talk special on Facebook TV. She reiterated that she didn’t sleep with Thompson, but did confess that he kissed her.

Still, it looks like Woods‘ friendship with Jenner is still strained. Woods reportedly ran into Kendall Jenner during the Coachella festivities in Los Angeles earlier this month. And onlookers said it couldn’t be more awkward.

“It was such an awkward moment, everyone saw it. They made eye contact and you could see that they all thought this is awkward — they were saying it with their eyes and body language. It wasn’t hard to see the tension and the awkwardness.”
