Steve Harvey & Wife Marjorie Shut Down Divorce Rumors

False alarm — All is well in the Harvey household! It was previously reported that Steve Harvey and his wife Marjorie Harvey were headed for divorce court. But if you ask them, it’s nothing more than petty rumors. Steve posted a video of him and his wife pushing aside the rumors.

His son, Broderick Harvey, Jr. approached them and said he read about the rumors. Steve said,

“I read that too.”

Marjorie and Steve then go back and forth about whose leaving who and whether they’re really getting a divorce, claiming that they were shocked by the news themselves. Marjorie said,

“I just found out I was leaving.”

Broderick added that he simply read the news online. In true Steve fashion, he added,

“They say we broke too. We ain’t got no money. You gotta take all of that off.”

Harvey opened up about his frustrations concerning the rumors after speculation swirled that he was leaving Marjorie for Kris Jenner back in October.

“I’m sick of it. They act like I don’t have family. They act like my kids can’t read. They don’t care. They just go out to destroy people with no facts behind it.”

While they are able to laugh off rumors, Marjorie’s ex-husband is said to be writing a tell-all about her.

Jim Townsend, known as an ex-druglord in Memphis, said during an interview,

“I’m pouring my heart out. No one knows what happened but me and Marjorie. I wrote two-thirds of the book in prison. I have no allegiance to Marjorie, she showed her hand. I’m going to tell my story. It don’t matter [if she knows about it].”

Steve and Marjorie tied the knot on June 25, 2017. Before that, Steve was married to Marcia Harvey from 1980-1994 and married to Mary Shackelford from 1996-2005. They have a total of seven children in their blended family.
