Joe Budden Says He & Cyn Santanta Haven’t Broken Up, But She’s Moved Out & They Haven’t Spoken In Awhile

Joe Budden is speaking out about speculation that he and his fiance Cyn Santana called it quits. Interestingly enough, the witty emcee found a loophole when claiming he and Santana never broke up. He said during a live taping of his Joe Budden Podcast in Tampa,

“They were telling me that I had broken up with somebody. Right? Like how can I put on a show tonight like this? So, I want to tell…and this is breaking news… y’all are the first to hear. We didn’t break up. We did not break up.”

While his words were met with cheers, he shared what was really going on between the two.

“Now, words are important. So what does that mean? What that means is, neither one of us said it’s over. Now, with that said, we haven’t spoken. We haven’t spoken in a little while. I think her phone’s been dead for a few weeks. Overtime at work. Plenty of reasons I can think of.”

He went on to ask the audience if two people can break up without actually saying it.

“Can you have a break up without saying it? I’m asking a very serious question. I’m asking for enlightenment from Tampa. Can you break up without actually breaking up? I didn’t take it no way when she actually moved all her [stuff] out of the house.”

It’s not clear why the two are going through a rough patch. The Jasmine Brand previously reported that they are no longer following each other on Instagram. Santana also removed all snapshots of Budden from her Instagram page.

The two started dating in August 2016.

Fans saw their relationship on Love & Hip Hop New York. One of the struggles viewers witnessed was Santana’s experience with postpartum depression after the two welcomed their son, Lexington Budden, in December 2017. Budden is also father to 17-year-old Trey Budden from a previous relationship.

Still, all seemed well when Budden proposed to Santana last December.
