“Empire” Will End With 6th Season
“Empire” will end with its 6th season. Fox announced that their hit show’s upcoming season will be its last. Fox Entertainment CEO Charlie Collier said,
“We are turning the final season into a television event. One of the great benefits of announcing a final season announce have the fans lean in have the finale they desire.”
“Empire” was created by Lee Daniels and Danny Strong, who executive produce alongside Brian Grazer, Francie Calfo, Sanaa Hamri, Dennis Hammer, Matt Pyken and Diane Ademu-John.
The musical drama centered on a fictional hip hop music and entertainment company, Empire Entertainment, and the drama among the members of the founders’ family as they fight for control of it. It starred Terrence Howard, Taraji P. Henson, Bryshere Y. Gray, Jussie Smollett, Trai Byers, Grace Byers and more.
Jussie reportedly will not return for the final season.
As was previously announced, Fox’s “Star” has been canceled.
