As the battle for the guardianship of Nipsey Hussle’s daughter continues, one of the major players of this dispute has remained entirely mum on the issue publicly—the child’s mother, Tanisha.
Last week, it was reported that Nipsey Hussle’s older brother Samiel Asghedom, was joining the efforts of Hussle’s sister, Samantha Smith, to gain permanent guardianship of Hussle’s 10-year-old daughter, Emani. This is after Smith was previously denied the request for temporary guardianship, but Asghedom is hoping his help will aid Smith in her quest for permanent guardianship at their next scheduled court hearing on May 14th.
However, Emani’s mother, Tanisha Asghedom, has remained completely silent on the matter publicly. As reports continue to come out about who should have permanent custody of Emani, many Nispey Hussle fans are wondering what her mother thinks about her daughter being removed from her custody.
It should also be noted that before his untimely death, Hussle had primary guardianship of Emani, but he and Tanisha shared custody of her. Smith has stated in court documents that one of the reasons she is seeking guardianship is because she doesn’t believe that Tanisha is able to properly care for her daughter on a regular basis.
Perhaps Tanisha’s public silence is because she is being advised by legal counsel or she’s waiting to publicly address the matter after the final decision has been made on May 14th when Hussle’s siblings return to court.
However, she did post a few recent photos on her Instagram page, where she goes by Chyna Hussle. In one photo, she posted a caption that simply said, “And still I smile,” but her most recent picture indicates that she may be headed to court.
In the photo, you can see her wearing suit, while the caption says”
“Love my kids I’ll always rise to the occasion for them”
Either way, surely, she will speak out publicly if she does indeed lose primary guardianship of her daughter.
