Travis Scott – Parents Of Astroworld’s Youngest Victim File Legal Papers To Ban Promotion of “Project Heal”

The families of Astroworld victims are taking legal action against Travis Scott and “Project Heal”.

Previously we reported that families who lost loved ones to rapper Travis Scott’s deadly Astroworld festival, felt his new community initiative “Project Heal” was nothing but a PR stunt. Now, the parents of the tragic events youngest victim, Ezra Blount, is petitioning a court judge to ban Travis from promoting the project.

According to reports, Ezra’s parents – Tamara Byrd and Treston Blount – have moved forward with filing legal documents asking a court judge to include Houston rap artist Travis Scott in the ongoing lawsuit that claimed the lives of 10 concert goers, including their son.

Reportedly, the court judge initially put a gag order in place that banned lawyers of all parties from making public comments that could sway the jury pool. Following Travis’ announcement of Project Heal, the 9-year-old’s parents say they believe that the community initiative is meant to do just that.

In an interview, Ezra’s father Treston reportedly claimed the community project is:

“Nothing more than a highly sophisticated marketing campaign.”

And noted how press for the initiative was aimed heavily towards Harris, County Texas – where the supposed jury will be selected.
