Freaknik’s Comeback Is Official: Trina, Bun B, Da Brat, Lil Scrappy, Foxy Brown To Perform!
Freaknik is coming back like it never left! The iconic concert series is making a return to Atlanta this summer and the performers have officially been announced.
Freaknik made its debut at Atlanta University Center in 1983. It then became a staple in the 80s and 90s before then mayor, Kasim Reed, banned Freaknik in 2010.
But it’s making its return on June 22 at the Cellairis Amphitheater at Lakewood. The first performance is scheduled to kick off at 1 p.m. As for who’s hitting the stage, the likes of Uncle Luke, Bun B, Trina, Juvenile, Foxy Brown, Ying Yang Twins, Twista, Da Brat, and Lil Scrappy will be present.
