Wendy Williams’ Son Pleads Not Guilt In Assault Case Over Fight With Father
Wendy Williams‘ divorce from husband of 25 years – Kevin Hunter – has not only been hard on her, but tough on their son, Kevin Jr., as well. Police reports read that on May 21st, Kevin Sr. and Jr. were involved in a brawl outside of a Krauszer’s Food Stores in West Orange, New Jersey. The redecated report details that Wendy Williams’ 18-year-old son called his father a “b*tch” during a fight about his parents’ divorce.
The report reads:
“Kevin [Jr.] then stated that he called [redacted] a ‘b****,’ which caused [redacted] to approach him in an aggressive manner and started pointing [redacted] finger very close to his face. [Kevin] Jr. then admitted to pushing [redacted], which caused them to start wrestling with one another.”
Kevin, Sr. was reported to have punched his son in the face with a closed fist, which he later denied. Following the incident, Kevin Jr. did not show any signs of injury nor did he complain of pain when he received medical attention.
Today, (6/25/19) the fighting father and son had their first court date regarding the case. According to reports, Kevin Hunter, Jr. has plead not guilty for assault. A source shared that both Wendy Williams and her soon-to-be ex-husband were in attendance, but stayed outside of the courtroom to prevent causing a scene. No action was taken on the case today, as a result of the prosecutor requesting more time to review the case.
