Diddy Contemplating ‘Making The Band’ Reboot

On Monday, music mogul Diddy who has been instrumental in creating some of the most pivotal moments in music, creating superstars from Faith Evans, 112, Lil’ Kim, Carl Thomas, and the legendary late rapper, Notorious BIG, could bring back his hit music series, ‘Making The Band,’ to MTV.

He continues,

“Now, I’m trying to figure out my schedule for the next 24 months…but MTV called me out of nowhere and was like, ‘What do you think about partnering and bringing Making the Band back?'”

Singer/dancer, Aubrey O’Day, who was on the original show chimed in writing:

“You had making the band because of US! Dare you bring the true STARS back and show you can FINISH WHAT YOU STARTED.”

Throughout its three cycles on MTV, which premiered in 2002, ‘Making the Band,’ documented the rise of groups including Da Band, Danity Kane, and Day26. The show ended its final season with ‘Making the Band 4,’ in 2009.
