Mariah Carey Responds To Lil Nas X’s Request For Her To Do ‘Old Town Road’ Remix
Lil Nas X’s “Old Town Road” featuring Billy Ray Cyrus is a huge success to say the least. But could you imagine MC jumping on the track?
In a surprising twist, Mariah Carey hinted that she’s all for “Old Town Road” becoming “One Sweet Town Road.”
Lil Nas X suggested it and said,
“ok mariah carey let’s get this remix in”
Carey responded with a photo of her wearing a cowgirl hat and said,
“One Sweet Town Road!”

It looks like it was a play on words from her song “One Sweet Day” with Boyz II Men.
Interestingly enough, that song holds the record for the longest Number 1 song on Billboard’s Hot 100. It shares with the spot with Luis Fonsi, Daddy Yankee and Justin Bieber’s song “Despacito.”
And Lil Nas X’s hit could join the throne as it’s been running at number 1 for 14 weeks. So it might only make sense for him and Carey to make music together.
But fans have mixed reactions about it.
