Wendy Williams Show Staff Reportedly Looking For Jobs In Fear of Show’s Looming Ending
Talk show veteran Wendy Williams may be riding high after her explosive divorce from cheating husband Kevin Hunter – but her show’s staff is allegedly unstable. The “Wendy Show” crew held their annual wrap party at Jay-Z‘s 40/40 Club in Manhattan yesterday (7/31/19) in celebration of the controversial tenth season.

Sources hint that it may have been the last wrap party for many of the staffmembers due to skepticism about the show’s future. After many hiatuses, Wendy’s sober living house stint, and her emotional divorce – many are afraid that the show will end. The source claims,
“Staff are all celebrating what was one of the most difficult seasons over the 10 years of the show, because of Wendy’s health, rehab, her fractured shoulder, the sober-living facility, her husband’s infidelity, and the divorce announcement.”

They continued:
“They are all well aware that all they have is Season 11 left, that’s guaranteed, but until Debmar-Mercury announces that they are renewing additional seasons beyond the next season, some staff have begun searching for jobs.”

Longtime producer Talia Parkinson-Jones left earlier this year, taking on a new position as executive producer of Tamron Hall‘s upcoming talk show. Despite the sources’ warning, many members of the “Wendy Show” crew posted about about the wrap party with optimism for the eleventh season.

A “Wendy Williams Show” spokesperson denied issues with the staff altogether. They issued this statement:
“Wendy and her staff are closer than ever. Last night was a great celebration to wrap up the show’s 10th season and everyone is excited to come back for the 11th season on September 16.”
