Lamar Odom And His New Girlfriend Defend Him After He Was Accused Of Shading Khloe Kardashian ‘Lamar Is Finally Happy And Woke’

Lamar Odom and Sabrina Parr are already a united force against their critics, just a day after seemingly going public about their relationship.

While fans didn’t hesitate to point out that Odom moved on with a Black woman after his marriage to Khloe Kardashian, they faced backlash when Odom mentioned it himself and seemed to throw shade at his ex-wife.

He posted a photo of Parr and used a Malcolm X quote as the caption Saturday.

“It’s just like when you’ve got some coffee that’s too black, which means it’s too strong, what do you do? You integrate it with cream… But if you pour too much cream in it, you won’t even know you ever had coffee. It used to be hot, it becomes cool. It used to be strong, it becomes weak. It used to wake you up, now it puts you to sleep.” – MALCOLM X”

One fan refused to believe Odom wrote the caption himself and commented,

“This is a jab at @khloekardashian and @lamarodom definitely didn’t post cuz he wouldn’t do that. His girl did smh. Let the man control his own IG and stop using it for PR.”

Odom then called Parr in for reinforcements.

“TELL EM”

That’s all it took for Parr to jump into the mix.

“Let me say this in the most respectful way possible… you’re extremely unintelligent if you truly believe I am posting and writing for Lamar! It’s also offensive to imply that man doesn’t have a brain of his own. The only thing I control is MYSELF! Lamar is finally happy and woke and decided he wants to share that with the world on his own platform. I see these post the same way you do; coming on social media and scrolling! You should watch what you say moving forward if it isn’t the truth!”

Odom also added,

“I can understand that you are surprised when I am actually writing my own post on my own Instagram and that’s the whole point of this post! There is more to me than just knowing how to play ball!”

He later followed it up with a post and said he was “disappointed” at the message fans thought he was conveying. He also denied throwing shade at Kardashian. 

“Im a bit disappointed to read that people are using my words to enforce their own perceptions and assumptions pointing towards things that just are not MY TRUTH OR REALITY. This post isn’t against anyone including my ex wife that I still respect deeply. I am just PRO love. Can I do that without people feeling offended? Why does that make you mad? Our black women have been held down for centuries ! I am now deciding to send them and my NEW WOMAN a lot of love. My post goes out to the new leading woman in my life, that I’m gonna tell everyday how beautiful she is, from the inside out. Thanks @getuptoparr for teaching me what real self value means. It changed my entire mindset. #woke“

Odom introduced Parr to his fans on Friday.

Odom and Kardashian were married from 2009 to 2016.

Kardashian hasn’t responded to Odom and Parr’s statements yet.
