Nicki Minaj – I Have NOT Eloped, I’ll Be Married Before The Album Comes Out
Nicki Minaj Addresses Rumors She Eloped
Nicki Minaj is clearing the air about her marital status. During an episode of her Queen Radio, the 36-year-old rapper denied that she had in fact, eloped with her boyfriend Kenneth Petty.
Late last month, there were reports that she and Kenneth Petty, took out a marriage license in the City of Angels. People at the Beverly Hills Courthouse spotted the two at the marriage license bureau window. Nicki was reportedly trying to lay low and sported a hat while Petty paid for the license.
Nicki addresses the speculation stating,
We filed for the marriage license.
She adds,
Now we have the marriage license and from that time we have 90 days to get married.
Minaj continues about wedding plans noting,
I don’t wanna do the big wedding now. I want us to get married now and then we’ll do the big wedding later.

She adds,
I’ll be married before my album comes out….I’ll probably have my wedding after the album comes out.
She and Petty went public with their relationship at the end of 2018. The two also reportedly dated back when Nicki was 16.
No further details about her special day have been released.
