Cardi B’s Back-To-School Event Canceled By NYPD After Her BFF Star’s Event Was Also Axed: I’m Not Going To Say The Way I Feel
Cardi B was forced to shut down another back-to-school event due to “safety issues,” by the NYPD. On Wednesday, just prior to her event, the Grammy award winning rapper took to Instagram to address her canceled event and to send an apology to all of the kids of Highbridge.
“Unfortunately, it got canceled. The NYPD decided to shut it down. Supposedly, due to safety issues, safety concerns.”
She claims there hasn’t been any issues at similar recent events,
”I don’t understand because this week, I’ve been to two different hoods, I went to two different projects. Everybody was out, there was no smoke, no issue, there was no beef, straight positive vibes only.”

She continues, touching on how she’s taking a different way to respond,
“I’m not even going to say how I feel, because it always comes back to bite me in the a**.”
As previously reported, Cardi lashed out at the NYPD following the first canceled give away on Tuesday by her close friend Star.
“I find that s– so f—ed up by the NYPD … it’s like this is really for the kids. Shorty was really coming out her pockets, just to help the community, and it was for kids to have a fun, positive day.”
She adds,
“I just find that sh*t so f**ed up. And f**k you and motherf**king suck a fart and suffocate on it. F**k you!”
According to reports, law enforcement sources in the area called the explosive tirade a miscommunication.
