Tyler Perry Uses His Own Plane To Bring Resources To Bahamas After Hurricane Dorian
Tyler Perry is never short of a good deed.
In his latest move that’s making headlines, the actor and director used his personal seaplane to provide aid to the Bahamas after it was hit with deadly Hurricane Dorian this week.
His plane, which is based in Nassau, went to the Abaco Islands in the Bahamas. That area is said to be suffering the most damage from the hurricane.
Perry’s plane took two trips as of Thursday and gave locals water, sleeping bags, juice, hygiene resources and more. It also returned with seven passengers who needed medical help, one who was pregnant and others who were small children.
Perry showed love for the Bahamas previously and wrote on Instagram,
“To all the incredible people of the Bahamas who have welcomed me and called me an adoptive son, I want you to know that I am watching closely, and as soon as I can, I will be there to do whatever I can to help you rebuild stronger and better. You’re not only in my heart and my prayers, you’re in my blood. God bless you. Stay Bahamas strong. The sun will shine again. #HurricaneDorian“

Hurricane Dorian brought in winds at 185 mph. As of Thursday, 20 people lost their lives as a result of the natural disaster.
Other celebrities are also stepped up to help.
