LeBron James Pays Homage To Nipsey Hussle

LeBron James Pays Homage To Nipsey Hussle Custom Crenshaw Lakers Jersey
NBA superstar, LeBron James took to social media on Monday (Sept. 16th) wearing a rare blue alternate Los Angeles Lakers throwback jersey, paying his respects to late rapper Nipsey Hussle. In the photo, LeBron snapped a selfie while on vacation oceanside in his No. 23 Crenshaw jersey adding how he will continue Nipsey’s world famous motto,
”I know you smiling down back at me my G! The Marathon will always continue all around the world with me.”

The jersey, which is reminiscent to blue uniforms the Lakers wore early in their franchise history, appears to have connected with the designer for his custom uniform inspired by a Lakers fan, Grant Goldberg. After posting his selfie, Goldberg took to Twitter to touch how special seeing his design on the Lakers superstar,
“This is awesome, no doubt. Can’t take a whole lot of credit. I just put the photoshop together. It’s all Nipsey.”

LeBron added mixing blue and stripped white knee high shirts with low top white sneakers.

Several of LeBron’s fellow NBA players and former teammates jumped into his comments, including Kevin Love and Chris Bosh. Close friend to Nipsey, Los Angeles rapper, YG says the late rapper would appreciate LeBron’s tribute.
”Nip loving that jersey 4sho, 4sho.”

Just days after Nipsey’s tragic murder in late March, LeBron touched on his death calling it,
“One of the most unfortunate events that has happened in American history.”

He added,
“Him being a friend of mine as well… I still don’t believe it,”
