Kevin Hart Is Back Home, ‘Shocked’ He’s Alive After Serious Car Accident
Kevin Hart’s recovery is certainly progressing. The actor and comedian is back home after checking out of an in-patient rehab facility earlier this week. Now, he’s said to be undergoing serious physical therapy as he recovers from a nearly fatal car crash. A physical therapist will meet him at his home several days out of the week.
And while he’s known for hitting the gym regularly, he’ll have to take a break from gym life as he knows it and depend on therapy bands to assist him with stretches and exercises.
He’s reportedly both “grateful” and “shocked” that he made it through the accident. He’s said to have seen photos of his car, a 1970 Plymouth Barracuda, after the crash, and is amazed that he survived it. See photos here.

Reports added that he now has a
“new perspective on life. He really cherishes the fact that he’s alive, and wants to make the most out of it in every respect. The crash had a huge impact on him.”
It was previously reported that Hart suffered three spinal fractures and had to receive back surgery shortly after the accident earlier this month. He was in the hospital for 10 days where he took strong pain medication before he was taken to the in-patient facility. Fortunately, he’s now home with his wife Eniko Hart.

He’s still in pain, according to the reports, but he’s able to manage it with the pain meds he was taking while at the hospital.
As for his famous career, that won’t take a hit. Doctors and his physical therapist have reportedly told him he’ll bounce back in time. Plus, he didn’t have any new projects coming up that he would have to miss out on because of the accident.
We’re wishing Kevin a speedy recovery!
