Brandy Releases “Freedom Rings” On 25th Anniversary Of Debut [New Music]
Brandy returned with a new single, ‘Freedom Rings’ on Friday (Sept. 27th) the same day as her 25th anniversary of her debut album. Brandy’s self titled debut was released on 27th of September in 1994. Her debut sold over 6 million copies worldwide.
The Grammy award winning singer from Mississippi was a worldwide success, delivering two No. 1 singles on the mainstream R&B/Hip-Hop chart. With hits as “Baby” and “I Wanna Be Down,” she became an young idol to teenage girls all around the county.

In August, Brandy was honoured at the 2019 BMI R&B/Hip-Hop Awards where she received the BMI’s President Award.
She continued,
“I’m looking forward to just singing all of my new songs and all of my songs together on every stage that I can possibly sing on. I’m ready for the world, are you guys?”
