Actress Naomie Harris Says She Was Sexually Assaulted In Front of Movie Director: “No One Said Anything Because He’s A Huge Star!”
“Bond” franchise actress Naomie Harris is busy ramping up press for her upcoming appearance in the “James Bond: No Time To Die” film alongside Daniel Craig. Her nearly two-decades-long career has not come without challenges. In a recent interview, she revealed her “Me Too” moment.
The 43-year-old beauty says that during an audition for a film in her mid-twenties, she was sexually assaulted by a famous male actor. She called the incident:
“Shocking.”
She detailed:
“I was in an audition and he put his hand up my skirt…What was so shocking about it was the casting director was there and the director – and of course no one said anything at all because he was – he is – such a huge star.”

Thankfully, the incident didn’t deter her from pursuing a career in Hollywood. If it had, we may not have been able to witness her groundbreaking role in the 2017 Oscar-winning film, “Moonlight.” However, she says this role almost made her abandon her career as an actress:
“[I was] completely burned out. [I] needed a break.”
Naomie Harris did not reveal the name of the actor who sexually assaulted her.
