Eminem Asks “What If I Was Gay” In Leaked Song [AUDIO]
Eminem Featured On “What If I Was Gay” Leaked Song
Record-breaking rapper Eminem is returning to what he knows best – controversy. A Joyner Lucas song called “What If I Was Gay” featuring Slim Shady recently leaked to social media, which is rumored to be included on Joyner’s upcoming album. The song’s lyrics reportedly toy with the idea of what the public reaction would be if either rapper came out as homosexual. In it, Eminem raps:
“What if I’m a hypocrite who’s just afraid to face truth? / Wait, what if I told you that I’m gay too?”

This comes as a shock considering Eminem has had a long complicated history with the LGBTQ community. The Detroit native faced an overwhelming wave of backlash in the early 2000’s for his frequent use of the word f*ggot. He, later, made a public stance in favor of making up with the community by inviting music icon Elton John to perform with him during his 2001 Grammy Awards performance.
However, Eminem later doubled back on his use of the f-word. First on Nicki Minaj‘s 2010 song, “Roman’s Revenge:”
“All you little f*ggots can suck it / No homo, but I’mma stick it to ’em like refrigerator magnets”
Just last year, he dissed admittedly bisexual rapper Tyler the Creator with the following lyrics:
“Tyler create nothing, I see why you called yourself a f*ggot, b*tch / It’s not just ’cause you lack attention / It’s ’cause you worship D12’s balls, you’re sac-rilegious”
Meanwhile, Eminem’s publicist told LGBTQ publication, Metro, that he is not gay.
