Kenya Moore On Her Marriage To Marc Daly: “I Don’t Think It’s Hit Me Yet That We’re Not Actually Together”
Kenya Moore is having trouble processing her split from her husband of two years, restaurateur Marc Daly. Opening up about their separation, she tells the Hollywood Life:
“I don’t think it’s hit me yet that we’re not actually together. I have a lot going on that I didn’t necessarily want to, [and] it’s hard when you’re going through a hard time and you don’t want to expose that. But living your truth and you own it and based on my experience on the show, you have to be authentic. And so, it’s hard to watch some things, you know.”
When asked if reconciliation is in their plans, Kenya Moore said:
“I don’t know. It’s just hard to tell. We’re just taking one day at a time. I have a daughter now, so I really don’t have time for nonsense so that’s the way I am with everything.”
This is a slightly different tune from Kenya’s earlier comments on her desire to repair she and Marc’s relationship. She shared that she was willing to work on their marriage, but wasn’t so sure that Marc felt the same:
“I am hopeful, and have always wanted to work on our relationship. But I just don’t know if that’s even a possibility at this point, honestly. Marc doesn’t seem to be there. I’d feel more comfortable calling it quits if I knew I’d tried everything and it still didn’t work. And we definitely didn’t do everything we could have done to save our relationship.”
The Daly family’s union may be on the rocks, but that didn’t stop Marc and Kenya from celebrating their daughter, Brooklyn‘s, birthday together. Kenya said:
“It was fine. I mean, we got along great. I was making him plates of food. But it was a pleasant time. We had a great time together.”
Kenya Moore admits that she isn’t ready to reveal the reason why her marriage ended. Perhaps, we’ll find out on this season of “Real Housewives of Atlanta.”
