Whoopi Goldberg & Meghan McCain Have Heated Exchange On ‘The View’, Whoopi Tells Meghan: Girl, Please Stop Talking!
Whew! Meghan McCain and Whoopi Goldberg aren’t strangers to speaking their minds on daytime talk show “The View.” In fact, that’s their job. But according to Whoopi Goldberg, Meghan McCain was doing too much. The ladies got into a heated debate on the show Monday (Dec. 16).
During the episode, Meghan McCain pointed out,
“I’m an ABC political analyst, along with being a ‘View’ co-host, my job is to analyze the politics of it.”
Sunny Hostin chimed in, and McCain told Sunny Hostin to let her finish.
That’s when Whoopi Goldberg, who’s the moderator on the show, stepped in to try to diffuse the situation. But McCain wasn’t ready to stop just yet. Ultimately Goldberg told her,
“Girl, please stop talking! Please stop talking right now!”
McCain said,
“No problem. I won’t talk the rest of the show.”
Goldberg replied,
“I’m okay with that. If you’re gonna behave like this…”
McCain said she was trying to offer her conservative perspective, but Goldberg then told her,
“We understand that. But what you’re doing… we’re not doing anything…”
The show then went to break.
This isn’t the first time McCain has gotten into with her co-stars. A recent dispute caused her to walk off the stage during the show.
She later said she was simply going to get her makeup touched up during the commercial break.

She and Goldberg also got into it back in October.
