Congratulations to Christina Milian and Matt Pokora!

The couple welcomed their first child together on Monday (Jan. 20th), an adorable baby boy! The proud new mom took to social media to share their new addition to their family with an adorable black and white. In the photo, the couple’s new bundle of joy is seen bonding with Mom while still resting in her hospital bed. As he tightly holds on Christina’s index finger, the singer reveals her only son’s name and date delivery date.

The new father first announced they were expecting this past summer on Instagram with a black-and-white image of the couple proudly holding their son’s first ultrasound photo back in July. Matt, a French singer, penned their announcement in French which says in English,

”Legacy on the way.”

As reported in August, the soon-to-be parents celebrated their first baby boy with a beautiful gender reveal. In a video that captured the reveal, Matt shows his joyful excitement after pulling a string that bursts into a cloud of blue smoke.

This is the first child for Matt Pokora, 34, while Christina, 38, is a mother to beautiful nine-year-old daughter, Violet Madison, who she shares her with ex-husband, super-producer, The Dream.

In an interview in March, Christina Milian touched on the importance of her daughter having her own relationship with Matt Pokora, who she’s been dating since 2017.

“It was a really nice meeting. We all met in the mall and it was very casual. She already knew about him and thought he was cute.”

Milian continued,

“We went to a candy store and she picked out chocolate ants or something and they both ate chocolate ants together … They’ve been best friends ever since and we’re all a great family. I love them.”

In addition, while with ‘The Real,’ in 2018, Christina opened up about their unique bond. She says last year,

“We got along so long so well from the very beginning. We have the best time together. I could spend every day with him, every moment and everything. It’s been cool. We just have a good time.”
