Ray J Gives Update On His & Princess Love’s Marriage

Ray J and Princess Love have been quiet since welcoming their second child, son Epik Ray Norwood, together.

The couple went through a tumultuous period just before the birth as Princess Love accused Ray J of leaving her and their daughter Melody Love stranded in Las Vegas.

Ray J denied all of the claims, and news even spread that the two were going to work things out despite saying they wanted a divorce.

Ray J sparked rumors of reconciliation when he shared a photo of Princess Love from her maternity shoot.

But an insider EXCLUSIVELY told theJasmineBRAND that they hadn’t talked about getting back together.

“They are not back together and not considering couples therapy. They haven’t even discussed that. The only communication they have right now is regarding their daughter.”

Now, Ray J has given an update on how they’re doing.

He told In Touch Weekly earlier this week:

“We love each other and our relationship matters, definitely, but right now the kids are the only thing that matters. In relationships, you know you go through ups and downs, and so I think we just have to make sure going through the ups and going through the downs, that in this time we stick together to make sure that the kids are safe and happy and comfortable, and find the rhythm.”

He said they’re currently in a “medium” and added,

“Keep us in your prayers — God will make it work.”

As for how they’re adjusting with a new baby, Ray J bragged about being a “diaper changing expert” and gushed over baby Epik.

“He’s the most chill baby ever, like he rarely cries. He’s thinking about the master plan, he’s thinking about the world, he’s thinking about how to take it over.”

He added that Melody, who will be two-years-old this year, is also getting used to being a big sister.

“She’s reacting well. She’s kissing the baby. She knows how to be delicate and kind, and you know don’t kiss too hard, so she’s learning. She’s gonna be a good big sis.”

We might see the growing family on the new season of VH1’s “Love & Hip Hop:Hollywood.” Ray J said the new season isn’t secured, but it doesn’t look like he’s going anywhere.

“We haven’t gotten the pick up for this season. I’ve been with VH1 for over 10 years since For The Love of Ray J so you know I’m apart of the family.”
