Rick Fox Remembers Kobe Bryant & His Daughter Gianna Bryant After Reports Claimed He Was In Helicopter That Crashed
Rick Fox is one of many who are showing love to late NBA great Kobe Bryant.
Kobe Bryant and his daughter Gianna Bryant tragically died Sunday (Jan. 26) after the helicopter they were in crashed in Calabasas, Calif. According to reports, they were on their way to a travel basketball game for Gianna Bryant, 13. There were a total of nine people on the plane. Unfortunately, there were no survivors.
While fans and family come to grips with the unspeakable loss, false reports claimed that Kobe Bryant’s former L.A. Lakers teammate Rick Fox was also aboard the helicopter.
Jillian Hervey, the daughter of his former ex-wife, Vanessa Williams shut down those claims. She tweeted,
“To confirm my stepdad Rick Fox is ALIVE and safe! I just got off the phone with my sister. We are all in shock and deeply saddened but please don’t spread false news. #ripkobe.”

Rick Fox hasn’t addressed the reports, but he did send a special message in honor of Kobe Bryant and Gianna Bryant.
“Kobe and Gianna may your souls and the souls of the others who were with you Rest In Peace. My condolences and prayers go out to Kobe’s wife Vanessa, his daughters and the Bryant Family. I Love You Kobe and will miss you dearly.”

Kobe Bryant played for the L.A. Lakers from 1996 until he retired in 2016. Rick Fox played for the legendary team from 1997 to 2004.
Let’s pray for the Bryant family and all those impacted!
