Wendy Williams Tells Nicki Minaj “You’ve Ruined Everything About What Your Brand Could Be” While Discussing Rapper’s Husband [WATCH]

Wendy Williams had more than a few things to say about Nicki Minaj’s husband, Kenneth Petty’s legal troubles. It was previously reported that he was arrested because he failed to register as a sex offender in California. 

Wendy Williams said very candidly at the end of her show that she didn’t get a chance to speak on it Tuesday (March 10), but that it would be the first thing she discusses Wednesday (March 11).

“That’s gonna be my first story tomorrow, and I’m gonna lead with this: You should’ve never married him. Because now, you’ve ruined everything about what your brand could be…again. You’re never gonna stand a chance when you’re with a man who pulls a knife at rape point… a molester, a registered sex offender… you’re never going to stand a chance with John Q public.”

It was previously reported that Kenneth Petty was convicted of first-degree attempted rape in the mid-90s. He also pleaded guilty to first-degree manslaughter. He served seven years in prison for that and was freed in 2013. Wendy Williams also pointed that out and said,

“There’s only one thing worse than touching children and pulling knives, and that’s murder. By the way, he did go to jail for manslaughter. Oh, I think I just did the story. Nope. Everybody get to digging! Get to digging!”

This certainly isn’t the first time Wendy Williams has called out Nicki Minaj’s husband on her show.

She spoke on their marriage just days after they tied the knot and said on her show,

“Nicki Minaj is married. There are some naysayers that say, ‘Why did you marry this guy, Kenneth Petty?…I understand why she married him, you know what I’m saying? She’s known by all the world at this particular point in her life. She’s the biggest thing going. And sometimes when you’re the biggest thing going, you wanna have a safety blanket; a comfort zone- and that would be somebody you grew up with.”

She continued,

“I think that she will probably start a family right away- and can you imagine a burgeoning belly with these burgeoning hips? I mean, the plastic of it all!…I don’t know what he does for a living. I just know that he did time in jail. He’s a sex offender. Well, she’s no stranger to that considering her brother’s in jail for sex offending. He served seven years in prison, and he’s also a sex offender…so he’s a killer and a sex offender. Well, Nicki. Congratulations!”

Nicki Minaj went off shortly after and lashed out, to say the least. She noted that Wendy Williams’s husband, Kevin Hunter, had a baby with another woman, leading to Williams, who Nicki Minaj called “Pendi”, filing for divorce last April.

“That’s why Kevin was on that island chillin. Kevin said, ‘Wait a minute, I’m about to have my baby. I can’t come to that new episode my b*** giving birth.’”

“When you announce my husband, P, there’s no need for you to mention his past, because this rappers is rapping about shooting and killing every day… They’re rapping about guns they ain’t never held, guns they ain’t never bust.”

She added,

“Look at where you are now. Look at what age you are. You sat up there being vicious all this time, and paid for that man’s mistress for all these years. You paid for her shopping sprees, you paid for her hotels. You probably even paid for her GYN bills. You paid to have that baby delivered h*e. How you doin? I wanna know what you were doing when that n****as d*** was knee-deep in that p***y. I don’t wanna imagine you without your wig, that’s why he ran.”
