John Legend Performs Quarantine Concert From His Home, Teases New Song
One industry taking a massive hit from the coronavirus travel bans is the music industry. Festivals and artists’ tours – such as SXSW – quickly collapsed, announcing cancellations and postponed dates. But, COVID-19 is no match for beloved singer/”The Voice” judge, John Legend. He took to Twitter to announce his own special quarantined concert for fans via Instagram Live. He said:
“Hey everybody! It’s John Legend. I’m about to go live on Instagram. So I’m gonna do a little concert from my house on my piano, and who knows what’ll happen. It’ll be fun.”

Fans and his wife, Chrissy Teigen, trolled him over the unorthodox show.

Not only did Chrissy show up for the IG Live session, so did their three-year-old daughter, Luna, in a full face of make-up!

Lastly, as a treat for fans, John Legend teased a new song he’s working on featuring a sample from “The Edge” by David McCallum. You may better remember it from “The Next Episode” by Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, and Nate Dogg.
