O.J. Simpson Urges Golf Courses To Remain Open Despite Coronavirus Outbreak: “If I Can’t Play Golf For The Next Month, I’mma Go Crazy!”

O.J. Simpson seemingly isn’t that worried about the spread of the coronavirus – even as a part of one of the most vulnerable groups of people that could be targeted. He controversially took to Twitter to express his greatest concern in this time of a global pandemic:

“Hey Twitter world! Your’s truly! Well, we got to finish our round of golf today. They said they were gonna close the golf course at one point, but they let everybody finish their round of golf. And now they’re saying they’re gonna be closed. Other courses are talking about closing. But I thought the course did the right thing today. They closed the clubhouse so you couldn’t go in for breakfast or anything. But on the golf course, guys aren’t that close to each other. What they did today- they gave everybody single golf carts and told you not to take the pin out. I don’t take the pin out anyway.”

OJ Simpson continued:

“But I play in a club here, and there’s a lot of older guys in that club. Some of them, at one point, had strokes and they don’t walk that well, and they’ll never go hiking. And, as I say, they don’t really take long walks. Their only exercise is playing golf! So I kind of understand what the golf course is doing. I’m not gonna criticize them, but you let guys that have their own golf cart- you tell them not to pull the pin out, I guess. You don’t touch the pin. You don’t really get that close to one another on a golf course. These older guys that their only exercise is the golf course, I think it’s gonna hurt them. I’m just saying, and if you do close them you better open up some insane asylums. Get me a bed! ‘Cause I know if I can’t play golf for the next month, I’mma go crazy! I’m just saying! Take care.”
