Wendy’s show has been off air since last month because of the spread of the coronavirus. She had even started taping her show without an live audience. She used her workers to fill in as her “co-hosts” as she likes to call them.
She also put:
“There’s so much uncertainty in all of our worlds right now and we need each other! Stay safe! I ?you for watching! See you Monday!”

A few weeks ago, Wendy continued on with her show in her New York City apartment.

She posted a few videos on her Youtube page.

At that time, she said her team didn’t think re-runs would suffice.
Wendy was determined to have her show stay live during this pandemic. She told Doctor Oz:
“I’m willing to risk it with one camera and a flashlight. I’m ready to go back to work next week. I’m ready to go back to work when we’re like — come on, let’s go!”
Wendy Williams isn’t the only show that’s been off air. Ellen DeGeneres suspended live shows as well last month. Her show is also returning on Monday with new episodes from her home. Tamron Hall and Kelly Clarkson have been recording episodes from their homes too.
