Rapper and singing sensation O.T. Genasis is back with another hilarious vocal performance. On Tuesday (April 7th), the ‘Cut It,’ rapper shared his latest rendition to legendary singer Mariah Carey’s 1995 Grammy-nominated song “Always Be My Baby.”

In the clip, O.T. Genasis proudly sings along, word for word while jokingly crowning himself as the new king of R&B. In addition, O.T. Genasis sends out a challenge to fellow R&B lover, rapper 21 Savage.

”King of R&B. Period Pooh! Lol 21 Savage U don’t want no smoke.”

Soon after sharing, several of the rapper’s peers took to his comments to encourage his singing.

The rapper has seemingly worked on a few vocal notes as O.T. previously channeled singer Keyshia Cole back in December.

As reported, O.T. belted out Keyshia Cole’s “Love,” which was originally released back in 2005.

However, Cole wasn’t a fan of the rapper’s cover of her classic hit as she explaining why she took issue. She says,

“…Passion for the music that I had so long ago when I ain’t have no hope… But now, I’m smooth sailing, I’m good, I got my family, getting my mom right. I’m okay. But I’m really trying to get back to where my music used to be, so I would like my classics to be left alone. is that wrong? As an artist to say… I mean, I love everybody that sings my song.. I don had Cardi sing my songs and Bruno Mars was singing it, Trey Songz was singing it in the club, but they keep my lyrics the same, you understand what I’m saying? So, how am I gonna get paid if you’re making new lyrics and you haven’t sent me out a check? I don’t even know how that thing goes. And people hitting me up saying ‘I would never listen to Keyshia Cole’s song the same…”

At the moment, Mariah has not commented on O.T.’s cover.

How did O.T. do? Let us know in the comments!
