Jussie Smollett & Alleged Attacker Reportedly Engaged In A Sexual Relationship, Partied Together At Chicago Bathhouse
Former “Empire” star, Jussie Smollett, is back in the news with new information about his alleged Chicago attack.
Back in January 2019, reports of Jussie Smollett being the victim of a brutal hate crime swirled as Jussie Smollett was accused of having Nigerian brothers Abimbola “Abel” Osundairo and Olabinjo “Ola” Osundairo, who worked on the set of Fox’s “Empire” with Jussie, stage the attack against him. Jussie has adamantly denied staging the attack and claims the incident was not a hoax.
But now, the case is becoming even more complicated. According to Page Six, Jussie engaged in a sexual relationship with his alleged attacker Ambimbola “Abel” Osundairo, and the two visited a Chicago bathhouse on multiple occasions.
A source alleged,
“They went to this affluent Chicago bathhouse multiple times and they had to show ID. It’s known as a bathhouse where a lot of affluent black gay men hang out. The establishment’s records may be subpoenaed in Smollett’s upcoming trial on charges of disorderly conduct”.
The Osundairo brothers have previously denied being gay and even sued Jussie’s lawyers for defamation over the claim. In a statement read by their attorney, Gloria Schmidt, on their behalf at the time,
“We have sat back and watched lie after lie being fabricated about us in the media only so one big lie can continue to have life. These lies are destroying our character and our reputation in our personal and professional lives.”
The brothers’ defamation suit was recently dismissed by a judge.
Meanwhile, Jussie maintains his innocence and even penned a song “You Got to Fight for Your Right”. When asked about his case, Jussie most recently said,
“I don’t claim to be innocent, I am innocent.”
