T-Pain Posts Sweet Message About Wife 17 Years After Proposing: She’s Kept Me Going In This Weird A** Life & Industry

T-Pain is celebrating the day that he got engaged to his wife, more than 17 years ago! In a recent Instagram post on Saturday, (April 18), T-Pain shared a screenshot of a Facebook memory of his engagement back in 2003.  He wrote the caption,

“S/O to everybody that was in that Bennigans in #Tallahassee that night and started cheering when I got on one knee. Thank you to the waitress that put the ring in the bill for me and made @panpan2211 whisper very loudly “oh sh*t somebody left their ring” (we would make the worst thieves ?) she’s kept me going in this weird ass life and industry and you all have her to thank for me still being here and rockin’ out with y’all. Thank you for saying yes @panpan2211

His wife also celebrated the moment on social media.

T-Pain previously discussed his marriage while celebrating 10 years in marital bliss.

“A lot of people were saying me and my wife were swingers and that we had like a Will-and-Jada kinda open marriage and I was just telling them that me and my wife just sleep with other girls together. It’s not like we can just go off and have relationships with other people. People were assuming we got married for nothing. Just because we smash every now and then doesn’t mean we have an open marriage.”

“No, I mean it’s that mind frame that has us together, it’s things that we can agree on things like that. It’s not just the smashing of the women. Before any of y’all heard of me, I was married.”
